BATTLEGROUND

Airsoft in the YubaCity / Marysville area.

What can I say? This was the biggest missions day we have ever had on the field. Ther was so much action going on that I couldn't keep track of it all.

For the first time EVER, the entire field was utilized.

Operators, please feel free to us in with the details here.

First mission, force on force slug fest. Lots of bbs were slung.

Second mission, 3 mission cards were drawn on each side.

Third mission, 3 new cards were drawn on each side.

Little was know to the opposing sides there was another battle going on. While the Woodland and the Mixes where dukeing it out, two teams of special forces where dropped into unknown and extreme territory. For what you ask? Intel we were not sure what it was but orders are orders retrieve and return to base. Both teams face an uphill battle LITERALLY. The Air force Militia was poised and on then Rendezvous Point first, but The BCRA mercs were able to keep to push them back for a retrieval using excellent coordination and tactical fire withdrawal methods we retrieved the intel and bested the Air force. Our one causality was real: Our SAW gunner had taken a spill and hurt his ankle, with a "No man Left behind rule" The BCRA pulled their man out and still maintained the intel.

This missions day served as an example that two large teams won't bog each other down in the middle of the field. Mixed cammo, for whatever reason presented itself, overran the defensive lines of the woodland team with the woodland team finding themselves one time unable to re-spawn. Very interesting to observe when in the past we've seen smaller, large teams just get into a WW1 style stalemate over Silo and just throw bb's at each other for 45 minutes.
