as you may know i take alot of hits in the face bill told me about the iron face mask that he wears to drakes alot and said theyre great, i cant remember which version he was referring to since there is like 5 generations of their product can someone please clarify and their opinion/testimony thanks guys.

I have one and I can testify that it works great and will save face.  I've taken a full spray to the face at about 20 feet away.

I got one of these. It was the only way my at the time future wife would let me airsoft before the wedding. They are a great investment no fog and great protection one of the main issues its how it rest on your nose, it can be kind of bothersome and some people have complained of it smashing down their nose. There is however a easy solution: A product called Sugru ( a silicone molding putty) you can mold it to shape your nose and have a better more comfortable fit. I will be reviewing it later in a blog.

Hey Joe,
This is a great product. Cost is around $10. They have a style which covers your ears, however I find this type difficult to put cheek to stock in. The other, and the type I have (x3), covers just the nose and mouth around th jawline. This one I can easily sight my rifle while wearing. They are wire mesh and can be bent and shaped to fit better. I have painted mine to match my different colored uniforms.
My answer to it being tight is I loosen the single strap and wear it on top of my head from ear to ear. My cap or boonie is then worn over that to hold it in place. Because the strap is not worn around the back of my head it does not put any pressure on my nose or face. It simply hangs in place.
Well, that's my take.

Ive heard they can be uncomfortable on the nose and the one with ear gaurds is hard to sight with, thanks for the input

I have this one coming by UPS: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=33669. I decided that I didn't like getting shot in the face. The last couple times its been a little close for...well comfort. Its a little more than the one Blue posted, but it'll be worth it.

I got my mask today. very comfortable, doesn't chafe against my nose at all.
