How far do you travel to play Airsoft?
Up to 1.5 hrs. driving is acceptable for occasional games. Would be open to cross-country travel for major ops (i.e. Lion Claws) once I graduate from college.

Lonex M4, with aftermarket performance upgrades.

WE Glock 17, KWA or WE 1911s. Goal is to simulate likely real-world carry guns.

5. The family that kicks doors together, stays together.
What is your primary reason for playing Airsoft? (Good Exercise)
Learning environment for basic combat shooting skills- use of cover, tactical movement, communication, situational awareness, safe and effective weapon handling.
Have you played Paintball previously?
No.
What is your preferred style of Airsoft game? (Mil-Sim, Woodland)
Close-quarters force-on-force with pistols, shotguns, and low-velocity AEGs. Airsoft does not provide reasonable approximation of rifle performance at range, but is great for simulating pistols, shotguns, and SMGs, and getting hit with a high-velocity rifle at close range kinda sucks. I want to hone my abilities with close-quarters pistol especially, to better prepare for a real-life self-defense or active shooter incident.
What is your preferred position or job on a team? (Assault, SAW)
Point man. Aggression and speed are everything.
What influences your purchase decisions more? (Quality or Price)
Quality for my pistols (again, trying to simulate carry guns), and price for the primaries (No way I'm spending more than $250 for any airsoft gun.)
What weight (gram) of BB’s do you use? (Biodegradable?)
Currently, .25 gram white non-degradable. If I hear of a biodegradable brand that performs reliably and isn't too expensive, I'm willing to invest in it.
Would you, or have you, attended a large multi-day event?
I intend to at some point in the future, after school.
How many played at the largest event you have attended?
~40-50 (Diamond Corps Missions Day)
What should a ‘normal’ day of Airsoft cost?
Cost of food, gas, ammo, plus $10-15 for field fee. More for longer, larger, or more elaborate ops.
Do you play on a team?
Usually team up with my brothers and their friends in an informal manner.
Are you interested in night games?
Yes. Especially low-light CQB scenarios (good practice for real-world self-defense).
