Says it's out of stock. What brand is it? I only knew of Dboys and Tanaka

They are custom built guns.

I imagine that they have created a mold for the stock (as it is plastic) and have Frankensteined a gun that looks as close to the real WW2 gun.

Idk still think Tanaka is better, loved that thing. Spidedd im guessing its the same custom shop that builds the enfield, mosin-nagant and springfield in britain.

Tanaka is a beauty but....

560 is a little hot...especially if you are going to do cimerrians.

Gas powered....some WW2 sim games are in winter so the gas powered rifle might be iffy.

Here is one on craigslist that I found. If you want to check it out here is the link kar 98
Good looking gun but...when you expel a shot it ejects the shell...and thus you have to look for the shell after the shot.

Could attach a small pouch to the AEG to catch the ejected shells.

It wouldn't work with the K98. The K98 is a bolt action, just like the real steal. Most places market the K98 with the ejecting shells as a novelty used for WW2 re-enactments or display. This new one Bluewolf found would be the first rifle of the line from WW2 to come out as being a normal gun (m1 Garand being a kit conversion from M14 or 8mm gas, etc)

Also, for that price you could just about buy the real thing. Big Five here in Sacramento had them a couple weeks ago for $800. I was drooling and contemplating life with only one kidney...lol
