I love the OPs that have this kind of view. The top of the world! Here Maz covers south (left) expecting the enemy advance. We set an ambush here where they never managed to break through. The Brits eventually used arty to blow us off the mountain and move forward.
Arty was an air fired cannon firing 'shells' about the size of one litter bottles at distances of around 400-500 feet. Sometimes you could see them coming in, but there was nowhere to run, and you can't run fast enough anyway. KA BOOM!
