Profile Information

Years Airsofting:
Started in 2005
Operator Info:
About me:
I am an Honorably Discharged United States Marine (USMC 7011-EAF/Aircraft Recovery Specialist)
w/ several service connected disabilities (so quit your bitching cause I hurt every single day)
I am a Graphic Designer (since 2000)
AA in Information Technology with an emphasis in Multimedia
AA in Marketing Management (Broward Collage)
BS in Marketing/Advertising (FAU EGD: June 2012)

About AIRSOFT:
I have run a few Objective Based Scenarios which have been successful and organize and run local games back home in Florida
I am in favor of objective based missions and scenarios
(where as who or how many kills does not matter as much as weather or not you just lost control of your comm tower because you just had to get some trigger time in)
I am an honest player and I always call my hits
I am the first to tell some one when they had a great shot or congratulate them on the use of tactic's to take me out.
(And if you see me on the field ranting... don't worry i never bring it back to the staging area... that's why i rant on the field...)
I believe if you train hard, play hard and use team work you can overcome any obstacle on the field
I believe that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results
I disagree with the bang rule
(PAIN teaches us right from wrong, get shot up close and you wont make the same mistake again)
I think that fps max should be: 400 AEG / 600 SNIPER and there should be a $20 KNIFE kill fee
(paid from the knifee to the knifer...)
I believe that a persons character defines them and I judge based as such
I believe in the Mil/Sim aspect of our sport and the immersion of combat and surroundings and i dislike modifications which break that immersion
I fully support Mid-cap/Low-cap games
(there is nothing more intense than having to reload in the middle of a fire fight)

Can't wait to have you out! This winter and then permanently. We have been busy with Airsoft and everything. Too busy!

Hey Rob, Operations are still going here in the West. Would love to see some pics of your events out there. Had a non-participant shot at the last Cimmerian OP. Been busy trying to put together the facts for the record. No injuries, no problems, just an accident.

Are you planning on coming out this way before winter? Would be great to have you out again. Bring the troops!

Wish I could be there. No vacation time for work (working weekends now) and a priority on Christmas gifts for my kids. How often do you come out west?

So long as you don't have the battery connected to a pound of clay in some way it'll be fine. You will have to buy any green gas here because all sources of compressed gas outside of medical needs (and I don't understand those exemptions being as I'm checked baggage only) are not allowed on air craft (thank you ValuJet...).

What will end up happening probably is this: Whatever the baggage screening system is used at your local airport may or may not see anything wrong with the cases. My assumption is that they will be searched and sent on their merry way. That's why i suggested just declaring them to the airline because if they get searched, have the orange tip removed, and there's no documentation it'll create a mess (that you may or may not be brought into). Your average TSA screener is just that: average. So in the immortal words of George Carlin: "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

Bottom line though is that you will arrive safely in California as safe and sound as can be guaranteed by anyone with your airsoft guns. What day, time and airline are you flying in on? If I'm there I might sneak out and introduce myself since I won't be at the next couple events.

It's really simple, just declare the guns as if they were real fire arms and ask them to tell TSA. I screened a guy moving at least 10 rifles. No red tape or nothing.

Hey my friend, how are ya?
Let me see what fall in December.
Cimmerians will always have an OP on the 3rd Saturday of the month!
You would enjoy those OPs.
And it's something you can count on!

Site forum looked great.
I attempted to register, and got "Invalid Referrer Specified", and it removed my password. Not sure what the issue is, but I will try again later.
