Hey guys, thanks to everyone who made it out for the meeting and training. Its a great opportunity for us to learn from each other and work together. We talked about meeting early on Missions Days starting this weekend at 7:30 so we can do more training and prep for LionClaws.
We also discussed using Grey Shemaghs to Identify our unit. If anyone has a problem obtaining one please let me know I will provide the link above. From here on out everyone should be coming in the gear that they will be using at LionClaws so you can make sure your kit not only is together, and that its functional. Your Cover (hat), Shirt and Pants must all be 3-Color Sandy, (DCU), no exceptions! Your kit can be any color or camo pattern. Any questions let me know thanks.

We still on tomorrow even with these crazy storm warnings?
yes, those will be compatible as long as the channels are correctly input. All Baofeng should be compatible and even with other radios. Again, as long as the channels are set up correctly.
Baofeng UV-82 are best for leadership where an operator must effectively communicate on two frequencies. The UV-82 is a dual band, 2 meter, UHF/VHF handheld transceiver. The Boateng BF-888s are the best radio for non-leadership operators. The BF-888s only receive the one channel which they are tuned into.
Baofeng UV-82 $26
Boateng BF-888s $13
Antenna (dual-band, 2 meter, UHF/VHF) $20
