 w up at 0800 for check-in and registration for the pistol competition

 \nOn September 8th is the next PRIZE Pistol competition!\nDon't miss o
 ut on your chance to win prizes from JF Paintball and Airsoft located 
 in Grass Valley!\n Here at Diamond Corps, we have been host to several
  prize competitions such as our Sniper competition and the three-man D
 evils’ Run. This month’s event, coupled with our Missions Day, pro
 mises another full day of challenge and reward for all operators who a
 ttend!\nThe competition will begin at Saturday morning, at 9am. To reg
 ister, simply have a signed waiver on file at check-in and add your na
 me to the list of participants. Participants will need to have a belt 
 or leg holster, and a semi-auto Airsoft pistol which has been approved
  by a Tournament Marshal.\nEye Protection is required for all operator
 s competing. This may consist of shooting glasses or goggles or a mas
 k.\n\nRequirements:\n$10 competition entry.\nOperators will need to ha
 ve a pistol capable of firing on semi-auto.\nOperators will need to ha
 ve a belt or leg holster for use in the competition.\nAny weight ammun
 ition is allowed.\nOptical scopes and open sights are allowed. Lasers 
 which project an image on the target are not allowed.\nAll pistols and
  holsters must be approved by competition marshals.\n \nCourses of Fi
 re:\nEach operator will complete three of courses consisting of four t
 argets each, to achieve the fastest time.\nAll targets will be eight i
 nches in diameter, and at a range of thirty feet.\nOperators will be a
 llowed to run each course twice with the faster of the two runs being 
 recorded toward their total time.\nAny time greater than 10 seconds on
  a course will result in 10 seconds as a default time.\nAny course tha
 t an operator fails to complete will be given 10 seconds as a default 
 time.\nAt the end of all three courses, each operator’s best course 
 time will be tallied and divided by three to give that operator Time F
 inal.\nTime penalties may be added to a competitors score for unsafe b
 ehavior including the following; not clearing a weapon after firing, m
 uzzle sweeping, and failing to re-holster a weapon after course compl
 etion. Time penalties assigned by a Tournament Marshal.\n\nFor more in
