Event Description

FREE opportunity to see this field!

Recently in e-mailing with a nearby field owner, he announced that they will be opening up a field for Airsoft operators in nearby Nicolaus. Satellite Photo
(35 minutes from our DRAEX field and 15 minutes from Yuba City / Marysville)

After a brief internet exchange, it sounded like this will be an opportunity to support a local provider who has expressed interest in doing things the right way.

The opening day for SHOOTERS is a FREE event!

What have you got to lose?

BB's must be bought at the field. NO Exceptions.
I have been assured they will be at reasonable cost.
Owners are following strict guidelines given by F&G who regulate the business licensing for commercial use.
I understand they will be BIOVAL TECHNOLOGIES, BIODEGRADABLE so at least they will be quality bios.
Cost yet unknown . . .
I will be buying a bag of their .25's!

Drinks and snacks will be available at the lodge at entry.

Porta-Johns are on site.

If your AEG goes down, or you want to introduce a friend, they have rental CA AEG's for $20.

It is possible he is running on leased county land, or a commercial version of it.

Interesting, never heard of fish and game approving of items outside fishing and hunting, but the fact the owner wants to go that route shows some desire to do things right.

Field looks to be mostly flat with heavy tall brush/small trees. Paths are cut through it for ease of play and maintenance. They have an indoor are they plan to convert to CQB, 'shoot house' per owner.
Owner stated that BBs were being approved by 'Fish and Game Dept'.
Cost is set at $20 field fee + their BB's at 'same if not cheaper than retail'
I understand the reservations you have, but that's why I am interested in looking into it. The owner sounds like he has some ideas that make sense. I say we go him.

Sounds interesting. Wonder what they have in mind for the field (cqb buildings, trenches, etc). My one question is: why on site purchased bb's only? What about those operators that have tuned their gun with say .28's in mind? What kind of cost are we expecting, $20 filed fee with an additional $20 for bb's?
