These are the photos you posted. (below) The terrain appears very open. Some trees, but not much in the way of bushes or foliage. Was it a livestock pasture previously?

Per your Facebook post, the 'ranch' property is owned by Jackie Pudewell Moore, the owner of Playland. Website: HERE

I see the Playland company runs indoor/outdoor Paintball. Paintball players are accustomed to large flat areas with balloon 'bunkers', or pallets and plywood. Your post will likely appeal to the speedball/paintball players, however the majority of 'operators' on this site enjoy a Mil-Sim style of Airsoft. Quality venues for this type of event run $10-$20 and are not commercialized for the one size fits all. Mil-Sim operators don't have the 'spray and pray' attitude typically found at the Galt field and CQB City style venues.

You are not "the next closest community" to us. Investigating your competition, and knowing what the customer wants are important things to consider to have a successful business. Visit some of the other same market businesses who are growing.

I am sure you will do well in attracting customers to your new field. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Your event is an approximate 2 hour drive from Browns Valley (92 miles). Here in Browns Valley we have run a ten acre custom airsoft field for the last six years. We run events every second Saturday of the month, and would love to have you stop by if you are in the area.

Information on our field HERE.
