From Sacramento Area:
Take Hwy 80 East.
---Approx. 3 miles past Kingsvale . . .
Exit at Cisco Road.
Turn Left over Hwy 80.
At Hampshire Rocks Road turn Left.
---Approx 500 feet before the camp ground . . .
Turn Right on Forest Route 85.
From Nevada Area:
Take Hwy 80 West.
---Approx. 7 miles past Donner Pass Road . . .
Exit at Cisco Road.
Turn Right after exiting.
At Hampshire Rocks Road turn Left.
---Approx 500 feet before the camp ground . . .
Turn Right on Forest Route 85.
Once on Forest Route 85:
Forest Route 85 is poorly paved and has huge potholes before it becomes dirt.
Parts of Forest Route 85 are very rough and a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Continue on Forest Route 85 approx. 5 miles until you reach Magonigal Road.
The intersection will divide, with Fordyce Lake Road to the left, and Magonigal Road to the right.
Turn Right and take Magonigal Road.
---Approx. 500 feet up on the right . . .
Watch for small Cimmerian signs.
OPCOM will have RADIO at channel 5.5 for those needing assistance.
As you drive up Forest Route 85 DO NOT enter this gate on your right.
Turn RIGHT at this intersection:
Watch for Cimmerian signs on the right.
