Diamond Corps

1. In consideration of participating in, borrowing, renting, watching, operating equipment or using the operative area of any event I release and waive all claims for personal injury, death and/or damage to property against “Diamond” (Diamond Rose Academie D’Armes, Diamond Corps, Diamond Rose Guild, and any other Atkinson businesses and guilds related to construction, fencing, riding or Airsoft) to be from this point on, referred to as DC.  This includes it’s officers, directors, agents, and the Atkinson Family & Property. Even if caused in whole or in part by the negligence of any of them, arising from my attendance and /or participation in any DC activities and events.  I voluntarily assume all risks whether known or unknown of personal injury, up to and including death, and/or property damage arising from such use, attendance or participation. I am participating as a guest or volunteer, I understand I can not be deemed to be an employee, agent or servant nor shall I be entitled to any remuneration of any kind or nature from DC. This contract is legal and binding upon my self and my heirs.
2. I Agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DC, it’s officers, directors, agents from all claims, demands or liability for any injury, death or damage to anyone arising from my use of the facilities and attendance at/ or participation in any DC event or activity.
3. I understand DC does not carry insurance of any kind and I am participating of my own free will.
4. Should I attempt to pursue claims against DC, I agree to pay DC and each person named in said suit $50,000.00 each and all court costs. Once signed this is a legal contract. Binding and due upon start of said suit.
5. An event is defined as an activity that is open to the public such as classes, renaissance fairs and/or demo’s, Airsoft competitions, play days, organized wars or informal gatherings, build days or other presentations that take place. I will not enter the Atkinson’s property unless I have been invited, no trespassing.
6. I will obey all Federal and State laws, all local ordinances and regulations, and facility use rules. I have read and understand the HOUSE rules.  House rules will be posted or available & they may change so check with host.
7. I understand that I must be in my approved gear/costume(s) at all times during the open hours of any event. Protective gear is required and I assume all liability for the quality and maintenance of my gear. If I borrow gear, I do so at my own risk.
8. I agree to take all precautions to prevent injury to myself and others. I understand there is to be no live steel, real guns, live ammunition, hunting arrows, or weapons over 400 fps, on the Atkinson property. Airsoft ammunition must be 20-25grams.
9. I understand there are animals including horses, dogs etc. on the Atkinson property.  I agree not to harass, feed, shoot or bother any animals upon the property. The animals and all the activities all could pose a real threat and may be dangerous. By entering the property and/or participating I accept these risks and I take full responsibility for my actions/belongings and holding harmless DC. I understand there may be rattle snakes, spiders, ticks and poison oak on the property & will dress accordingly. No climbing the trees or crossing fence lines
10. I understand there are all ages present and will use acceptable language. No swearing
11. I understand there will be no fighting, vandalism, littering or challenging the game marshal.  Un-sportsman like behavior will not be tolerated.  I understand the objective is to have fun. Much of what we do relies on acting upon your honor, if you have none please do not attend. I agree to verbally take all valid hits. Once dead I will remove myself from the field with my weapon above my head. (Dead men tell no tails.)
12. I must be 18 or over, or have a guardian’s consent form signed by a parent or legal guardians. Minors may also be required to have a sponsor age 21 or over (18 or over if legal parent or guardian) on site if it is requested of them.
13. At no time will I be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during any DC event.
14. At no time will I supply alcohol or drugs to anyone.
15. I hereby give my consent to DC for the use of my name, biography, image or voice, recorded in any print, photographic, electronic or digital medium. In connection with DC activities and DC may freely use such information, sounds, and images without inspection or payment for advertising, commercial or promotional purposes, or for commemorative souvenirs, films, videos or audio recordings for a period not to exceed one hundred years from the date of signature.
16. I understand that any violations of these requirements is ground for loss of membership – OR invitation to the Diamond events and your removal from any and all activities, events and/or demo’s. 

We have a no tolerance policy for infractions.  You will be asked to leave and will not be welcome back.
