BATTLEGROUND

Airsoft in the YubaCity / Marysville area.

As some of you might know I'm a bit of a WW2 nut.  While I love the modern warfare weapons there is something about WW2.

I am truly looking forward to the Cimmerians WW2 event planned for December and I am currently working on my WW2 German kit .  Fallschirmjager kit looks good but I don't recall if they had access to the MP44 (which I have)  They were usually the best equipped but their doctrine of "face first' paratrooper only allowed for pistols and a knife.  Drop crates were how they obtained their gear. An FG-42 with scope would be awsome!  If I every win the lottery I'll have one custom made.

Looking around I've found a pretty good site for finding WW2 themed weapons and kits.  Its English (Scottish to be more correct) so you are going to pay a little more in conversion and shipping.

Yes the fallshirmjäger would have had access to the MP44/StG44 nearly as soon as it was available. I looked up on Wikipedia and it mentioned that they were the first to hit the battlefield with the assault rifle. The FG-42 was the ultra-light MG-42 (the FG standing for fallshirmjägergewehr) and in reality was the WW2 version of the SAW. this gun was highly advanced and was produced in very limited numbers. What you have is probably a great start for what most milsim looks for: the average soldier.

However I did find this: http://www.shoeiseisakusho.co.jp/

Hope that helps, feel free to ask any more questions, I'm a fountain of useless and sometimes useful knowledge.
Looks like your reply disappeared. so this response is to what I saw earlier:

Funny you should ask. The Fallshirmjäger actually used Luftwaffe uniforms. Hessian Antiques has the whole uniform available:

Field equipment may be available too, I haven't looked.
Thanks Phoenix. Looking at my "Handbook on German Military Forces"

(Great book BTW) The FJ Jump smock is quite a bit more than the Wafen SS peadot jacket.

And I apologize for this being in the "Events Forum" I don't know how I did that...last post I made was in general!
I really like this site

Prices are reasonable and they gave me a $15 off coupon!
I'll be ordering my kit here before the end of August.
If anyone else is inclined to make an order we might be ale to cut the shipping cost.
