The impact broke the composite spring guide which floated around the gear box damaging the gears, tappet plate and nozzle. Originally we thought it was the gears, piston and cylinder, but Ricochette reports that the piston and cylinder are actually in pretty good shape.

It didn't. Sore arms, sore knees and a stripped gear box. Good thing Ricochette feels competent in doing the repairs.
