Event Description

This is not a DIAMOND CORPS event. They use the SAC AIR rules. Contact David Allgood with any questions concerning.

This is a going away game hosted by Mark, (this guy http://ubuntuone.com/0JXSEu0p50OVSwZJIG5N23). He enlisted and leaves just after the holidays. I also understand that you guys have been out Dec 3 and tomorrow, so you may be a little airsofted out.

With that said, here is his final game:

DIRECTIONS

The field is located in the City of Plumas Lake, which is 15 minutes south of Marysville. From Marysville, head south on 70 until you hit Feather River Road. Head West (right if you were heading south on 70) on Feather River Road. Go staight on the stop sign. Road will curve left then right around some farmland. Eventually the road will be heading North. Make a left into the Star Bend Boat Ramp and you've made it. We will be meeting on the west side of the parking lot.

Location: Nam Field just south of Marysville: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=203266036103316215955.0004b0b7fbb9 e7abcc301&msa=0&ll=39.015449,-121.584234&spn=0.022707,0.035105

Operation

Date: Saturday, December 17rd

Time:
9:30am -- Arrive
9:45am -- Safety Briefing
10:00am -- Game Starts

Scenario:
After the recent attacks on the new U.S. embassy in the city of P'yongyang, North Korea the U.S. government ordered the remainder of the U.S. forces still holding the embassy to abandon it and fall back to the near by river trench system left over from the Korean War and wait for extraction via SURC under the cover of South Korean Air Support.

Attacking side:
The attackers armed with one improvised high explosive device
http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd340/kingsniper-01/P1010001.jpg
must attack the trench base being held by U.S. forces. Once inside they must battle their way to a specific area designated by a flag and defend the bomb for 5 minutes to win. If the bomb defender is killed or moves away from the flag the time will reset. The bomb defenders must drop the bomb if killed.

Defending side:
The defending side must hold the trench base for 1 hour and 30 minutes while they wait for extraction. If the bomb is held in the base for 5 mins the defending team loses however the defending team may move the bomb away from the flag themselves.

All SACAIR rules apply.
400fps with .20's for AEGs
550fps for Snipers with 100' engagement.
Sniper means SEMI ONLY.

David: One concern with the SacAir rules is the ability to shoot at 550fps as fast as you can pull a trigger.

Scramble can pull the trigger as fast as my AEG cycles. Meaning; I don't want to get shot (virtually) full-auto by 550fps, even at approximately 100 feet.

Diamond Corps House Rules only allow Bolt Action rifles to have greater than 400 FPS.

This is something they (I don't know who THEY are), may consider re-evaluating.
