Event Description
This operation will be held on Saturday, the 15th!
ATTENTION: This is the 3rd Saturday of the month!
OP open for new and veteran operators.
Field Donation is $10.
Check-in at 0800
Pistol competition will begin at 0900
OPERATION:IRON SPIDER will follow awards.
You will want to show up at 0800 for check-in and registration for the pistol competition which will begin at 0900.Click HERE for competition details.
Chrono, and Operation IRON SPIDER mission briefing to follow immediately after the competition winners are announced. It's a fast paced, full day. Be prepared!
Uniforms:
US Military:
Rangers: ACU
USMC: MARPAT
USAF: ABU
These are the general guidelines. Woodland BDU's with caps and full US style Tiger Stripe (this means pants, jacket and cap).
OPFOR: Foreign uniforms, black t-shirt with camo pants, Woodland with shemagh. Basically anyone that doesn't fit with the US uniform guidelines.

Weapons will chrono under 400fps with 25 gram BB's.
Bring your food for the day. Water provided.
Power, Water, and Restrooms are on site.

This is my first OP at Drake's, but I've played a few times elsewhere. I'll be in complete ABU and will bring my BDU. Also, I'll bring a shemagh, black shirt and my AK in case we need more OPFOR. Looking forward to it. See you all there.

I'm gonna bring a form to sign in on when you sign in with the field to state which side you're dressed for and whether you will be able to flex into the opposing side's uniform. Looks like we will have a good turn out.

@Matt, if you want him with you wear woodland with a cover. It's the safest bet.

I will be there with my son,(15), a first time operator. I want him with me all day to teach proper technique and etiquette. He will be in ACU/ACU and I'll be in woodland or maybe desert w/OD tactical gear.

Yeah they'll be fine. One possible Operator would be totally new but he's older than me so no worries there. He's done the paintballing thing and wants to try airsoft. I'll make sure they're all set and know what to expect.

Ricochette, you mentioned bringing up some new operators, and I'm assuming from your discussion that its probably not "new" operators per se. What uniforms are they wearing? If they don't have full US Style are they going to be ok on their own since you're wearing ACU?
