Thank you all for coming out to the September Missions day. I would like to thank Komissar, Kattiana, Phoenix, and Tank for helping make it an awesome day for airsofting!
And thank you everyone for sticking it out in the nearly oppressive heat!
Missions Day Operation 1: Capture Intel and Destroy the Fuel Depot.
Woodland at Red Base, Mixed at Blue Base. The missions progressed at a slow pace at first, then Red Team acquired their intel. Followed quickly by the Blue team. It looked like the game would last in stalemate for a while when Red team delivered their det-pack to the Blue fuel depot. Blue team gave a valiant fight but alas, they were not able to breach Red team's defenses.
Missions Day Operation 2: Retrieve Intel.
Supported by an "AC-130" The Spec. Ops. Team dressed in Woodland was tasked with retrieving important intel from Red and Blue bases. Op. For. was tasked with interfering with everything. The Spec. Ops. team fought hard, but the Op. For. was cunning and hid the disks within the bases. Spec. Ops. was not able to to collect the disks by the time the AC-130 had to retreat. After a final and valiant push by Spec. Ops. the game was called for much needed hydration and nutrients.
Missions Day Operations:
After a relaxing lunch, our standard missions cards were run. Unfortunately, the heat had gotten to me at this point and I am afraid I don't remember a whole lot of what happened, the game lasted 45 minutes and everyone seemed to have a good time. I look forward to reading any additional reports that people have to add.

Missions Day: Missions Cards:
Red Team assigned to Demo Blue Base, deposit radio pack in Blue 2 and demo something else, I believe mortar (we had three explosives). Blue team had a recon (that was killed by friendly fire, btw Thank you Tank! much appreciation, Red Team) Sniper target and mortar demo.
Seems both teams started off really strong then fizzled out in the heat. My favorite part of this is a good teaching point. Spartan, myself and I think Bill all took Gama. We made plans to seize Silo. After a failed push I returned by myself and made it inside where I made enough noise to alert two operators outside the window. One kept insisting there was someone inside Silo while the other insisted that it wasn't possible. After they turned their attention away from me, I quietly rose and score two, very surprised bang kills. Lesson: Investigate if you're worried about infiltration, whats the worst that can happen? In my case I couldn't look through the window and would have been an easy bang kill.
After Red Team completed its three objectives we fell back to defend Red 1 while blue team collapsed in on us. We were able to hold the fort (literally) and succeeded and stalling the Blue advance long enough to score victory.
Anyone else have more details?
Mission Day Operation 1: A Bombing by Farside and Zach
The low push by Red was halted by Blue very early. Two operaters Zach and Myself were ordered by Komissar to do a suicide run past the Blue defences. We made it and made the Blue team fall back. There was no resistence past that point since there was no communication about our infultration. With much stealth and many leapfrogs later we had the supply depot in our sights. I go as close as I could go without being seen the next 7 feet I had my partner fire on the Blue 1 tower and with a slip and a thud on the Oil Drums, we raced down the hill to safety. Great job Zach, you were a very good listener and operator. I can't wait to see how he uses the lessens I gave him that OP.
Mission Day Operation 2: Opfor OPCOM by Pheonix and Spartan
During the second misiion we had planne to maximize are greater neumbers and spread throughout the field, inhabiting most major bases. Pheonix and I decided to lead OPCOM through Red 2, one of the farthest positions and a valuable asset to the defense of Red 1. As the game started we were constantly being passed by the "gunship", and seeing that we would be more helpful to our team on the front lines, we decided to take Silo as our command post. As we help the Silo, taking fire from various operators we heard the gunship coming by. We immediately dove into the back room to wait for it to past. After a few seconds Pheonix gave the order to defend Red 1 to two other operators. As they were about to leave, we realized that the gunshiped had parked right outside the Silo. We ahd to retreat back inside and radio the rest of our team that "the gunship was circling above the command post. Lesson learned, even airplanes can hover, and to know the situation before you deploy. Thank you Pheonix for teaming with me, tank for the stories,a nd Chris for the fun time. And everyone else who did the base assaults at the end, no matter how tired they were! Semper Fi.
