CIMMERIAN OP: PANTHER CLAW
14th May to 15th May 2010
Genre : Modern

Operation Panther Claw , was a British-led NATO operation of the War in Afghanistan in Helmand Province on Feb 2010. op PC was a series of "find, fix, strike" raids by four-man SAS teams and U.S. Navy SEALS day and night. These resulted in the deaths of 50 Taliban leaders in the heart of the insurgency. NATO forces used focused intel techniques to find, fix and destroy enemy targets with minimal collateral damage. This Cimmerian OP will focus on desert recon and direct action missions. OPFOR will engage in counter-force operations. As always in the desert the Cimmerians will build an FOB to run operations out of.

DIAMOND CORPS OPERATORS:
I would like to put together a fire-team or two for this OP.
Looking for some commitment from the team.

Uniform - Woodland with any cover / shemagh.

Arrival for the Saturday part of the event would be fine.
Expect the OP to begin at 0800, and run until 1700.
We could always use one more opportunity to practice.

Include: Water, food, radio, ammo, batteries.

I got the word this op will go 1/2 day on Sunday. don't think I can do that, though.

I'm expecting woodland but taking tan just in case they need numbers. Doesn't sound like it and my tan is not really correct anyway.
