WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR!
Missions OP open for new and veteran operators.
Field Donation is $10.
Missions: We will begin the Safety Briefing at 0900 hrs and end at approx 1600 hrs.
You will want to show up by 0800 for check-in and chrono.
Weapons and Ammo:
Welcome to 2013, ALL operator AEG's will be required to meet the House Rule requirements as follows:
No AEG may fire greater than 400 fps (feet per second).
No AEG may fire an ammo grade higher than .25 grams without approval.
Uniforms:
Operators must bring a SHEMAGH or BOONIE hat for team designation. If you have both, please bring them both so we can balance the teams more easily. Dress your group in the same way if you intend to run as a team.
It is unlikely that operators can be split into teams using uniform color. We find it easier to divide teams using their headwear which is often the first target visable. Operators may wear any uniform of their choosing, HOWEVER:
Each operator must bring a SHEMAGH, or a boonie hat, patrol cap, or other COVER for team designation. If you have both, please bring them both so we can balance the teams more easily.
Read our House Rules.
Weapons will chrono under 400fps with 25 gram BB's.
Bring your food for the day. Well water provided.
Power, Water, and Restrooms are on site.

I have a friends funeral to attend
Going by the letter of the guidlines set forth by Redwolf airsoft, I did not achieve >420fps, however the .20 did dimple and split the bottom center of the can, but did not go through. I had hopped for this range so that .30's would bring me closer to the 400 line. Its why I scrapped plans for a TBB, I didn't want to go to high and not be able to hit the 400fps mark
I can't wait till Saturday. Improved gun, helmet cam and BB's flying at me. it can't get better than that.
Last time I installed a 130 spring in an A&K SVD it was shooting 425 with .20's I believe. You should be fine unless it was some strangely strong 130 spring.
Phoenix: Copy that. The chrono will be up at this Missions Day. It will be good to have you out.
I haven't fired it against a real chrono. The poor man's chrono (soda can hit with .20's.) puts me above the 350-370 range but less the 420-450 range. That should put me at or under 400 with .30's. Scramble and I are going to try out .40's and that should take it down further. If I get a chance I'll head over to AEX and get a real chrono reading using .25's and .30's
Phoenix: What is your fps using .25 gram ammo? The arms race is getting out of hand of late and I am enforcing compliance to the House Rules. Each force, both RED and BLUE will be allowed a DM who has demonstrated discipline and understands the requirements.
These DMs should be equipped with bolt-action rifles.
ugh...I was gonna bring the P90 out since the Masada is down and that needs an overhaul too. At least that one isn't a nightmare to tear down like the Masada was. looks like its me, the SVD and the UMP again next weekend.
I haven't played with you guys in a while, and the reason being iv'e developed a really allergy to poison oak, ivy, and sumac. But i will still try to come down, hope all of you are doing well. -Joe
The SVD now has a M130 spring in it and a strict diet of .3's. Lets see how she does in a brief couple weeks...
