This Missions Day event is open to new and veteran operators.
Field Donation is $10.
We will have coffee and donuts for sale in the morning, and hotdogs, chips an soda during lunch.
Missions:
You will want to show up by 0800 for check-in and chrono.
We will begin the Mission and Safety Briefing at 0900 hrs and end at 1600 hrs.
The standard missions include: Sniper, Demo, Radio, Mortar Demo, Recon, and Patrol.
New missions are added periodically.
Weapons and Ammo:
ALL operators AEG's will be required to meet the House Rule requirements as follows:
Weapons will chrono under 400fps with .25 gram BB's.
No AEG may fire greater than 400 fps.
No AEG may fire an ammo grade higher than .25 grams without approval.
Gas rifles and bolt-action weapons must meet the same requirements.
Eye Protection:
Sealed eye protection must be worn while on the field. Marshals can choose not to allow an operator on the field if they regard the operator’s eye protection to be unsafe.
Uniforms:
It is unlikely that operators can be split into teams using uniform color. Operators may wear any uniform of their choosing, HOWEVER: Operators must bring a SHEMAGH or BOONIE hat for team designation. Dress your group in the same way if you intend to run as a team.
We find it easier to divide teams using their headwear which is often the first target visible.
Each operator must bring a SHEMAGH, or a boonie hat, patrol cap, or other COVER for team designation. If you have both, please bring them both so we can balance the teams more easily.
Read our House Rules.
Bring your food for the day. Well water is provided.
Power, Water, and Restrooms are on site.
Comment
We are doing DC fundraiser! We will have coffee and donuts in the AM and hotdogs for lunch. We also have some gear for sale.
New parts are in and installed:
SVD: possibly shooting hot, may have to downgrade the spring (from M120 to what it was before). New hop-up means easier adjustments and better seal supposedly. Also stops double feeding.
ACR: New motor sounds like its shooting faster. Sounds better regardless.
P90: no more jamming batteries in and damaging wires, got the slip on rubber butt plate.
Whats all this mean? I have no reason to miss coming back!
I've set this date aside. Football is over this weekend and there's nothing else on the horizon. I have some pieces and parts to get my guns into top notch shape so I think the dry spell is over. Now to get into some better shape...
I will be down south running Tough Mudder, Have fun you guys!
