Event Description
In the wake of Project Mayhem the govt of the United States has fractured and broken. 10 years of natural disasters, civil war, and chaos have turned the former United states into a 3rd world country. Unrest racks the once great nation. In the former state of California 3 factions have emerged to try to gain control of the lands belonging to the former state of California.
The New California Republican Guard - As Southern California Fell one man emerged and seized control of the lower half of the state, Clint Eastwood rallied what was left of the Local military and warring gangs, turning them into his own fighting force. He intendes to hold The State together in an effort to re-establish the former "Legitamite" government.
The Golden Bear Army - Starting as a group of former farmers, militia, and and discontents, the GBA has become a power by Advocating a return to Democracy and self sufficiency, but on a small level that would make Cali powerful but leave the rest of the former nation to its self,
The Confederated Californian Counties - The CCC wants a strong Nation, but living in California, that is where they intend to start. They believe that democracy has failed and a new power needs to arise in the lands of the former USA. They are highly organized and almost fanatical in their beliefs.
Step into the boots of one of these Factions. Opress or Enlighten your oposition. We are Looking for about 30 Operators who want to have some fun, put them selves in odd situations and look at the world from a slightly post-apocalyptic angle.
Weapon Load Outs and Equipment Will be restricted for some scenarios through out the day. Shotguns, Pistols and SMGs are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
1 Faction will Be wearing Civilian Style Clothing, That's Blue Jeans and T-Shirts OR Solid BDUs (NO Camo)

Ok Folks, emails have gone out. I tried to keep everyone on the teams they wanted.
Darell - I Registered the other 2 people you asked me to
StierCo - I registered the other 3 people you asked me to,
if you two guys could make sure they see the emails and go over the guidelines.If you have not received an Email from me, please send me an email and let me know.
Both Teams are full up, so I don't have any more positions available . If there is anyone else at this point that would like to join please send me an email and I will try to find something fun for you.

I totally agree. Sadly, I don't have a pistol, shotgun, or smg. I'm going to use my CA sportline cause its got the least range/power of my guns. Then I'll put the Hop-Up all the way on or off so that it limits the range.
This sounds like a ton of fun. If we can get this op to work like its intended then it should be a blast.

I'm far from comfortable with a sniper rifle still, but I concede your point and will only bring my new toy to chrono and adjust the hop-up in a real use environment before or after the game, or between rounds. I'm just excited lol
The one thing we have to remember with an OP like this is that most players do not plan for an OP like this. I however don't like "plain and simple" M4's (though I owned one once) so I'm only missing the SAW style weapon and the shotgun.

I am concerned regarding the build up of arms. The excitement around this op is based off the lack of “comfort zone” in the weapon department. If the arms race continues and we keep adding “one-ups” soon people will have no reason not to bring their standard AEG to the OP. If operators all bring AEGs to this op the novelty of this event will be lost as it will follow the path of every other OP. The excitement of this OP is based off the “awkward positions” advertised in the description – for the first time holding president’s rock will not dominate the blue side of the field. This will force closer engagements which will lead to more excitement which culminates in better stories at dinner. We all have sat in a good position and “knocked em back” with a long rifle; but this opportunity is available at most ops. I understand there is no official restriction on kits; however, I feel it would be best to optionally limit ourselves to pistols and shotguns if at all possible. The “tragedy of the commons” will not permit one AEG or one Bolt Gun on the field as others will have no reason not to bring out their AEG which will pressure others to do the same - which will end with it being like any other game. I am sure Northman’s OP will be awesome in of itself; however, I believe that the feel of the game can be increased by voluntarily limiting our load-out for the sake of the experience.

I wouldn't worry about it Merlin. assuming my Ride doesn't flake again, this'll be my first actual match of Airsoft in... ever. Looking forward to it imensly, and praying my ride holds out for me this time >./p>
On the topic of amusing call signs, mine was a play on my atrocious luck with women, so to the guys, I was a 'Fox with the Hens.'
