Event Description
This operation will be held on Saturday, the 15th!
ATTENTION: This is the 3rd Saturday of the month!
OP open for new and veteran operators.
Field Donation is $10.
Check-in at 0800
Pistol competition will begin at 0900
OPERATION:IRON SPIDER will follow awards.
You will want to show up at 0800 for check-in and registration for the pistol competition which will begin at 0900.Click HERE for competition details.
Chrono, and Operation IRON SPIDER mission briefing to follow immediately after the competition winners are announced. It's a fast paced, full day. Be prepared!
Uniforms:
US Military:
Rangers: ACU
USMC: MARPAT
USAF: ABU
These are the general guidelines. Woodland BDU's with caps and full US style Tiger Stripe (this means pants, jacket and cap).
OPFOR: Foreign uniforms, black t-shirt with camo pants, Woodland with shemagh. Basically anyone that doesn't fit with the US uniform guidelines.

Weapons will chrono under 400fps with 25 gram BB's.
Bring your food for the day. Water provided.
Power, Water, and Restrooms are on site.

If the vest matches the uniform in color I feel its appropriate for US. Once on the field well adjust things as needed.
Teams, especially the US are under the control of their team captains. If the team.captain decides to separate jobs that's theirs to do. It adds to realism and is efficient to completing objectives.
Realistic deaths will be in place.

Hey if I have a tan vest with MARPAT BDU's does that thrust me into OPFOR? And if you are wanting the OPFOR to look more "PMC", Multicam would probably be more OPFOR/BlackWater...you get the idea.
Pheonix: Is there going to be designated squad positions for US troops? DM, Sniper, Riflemen, Medic, Gunner, etc.... And is there realistic death? This looks good. So far I will be able to make it but still no promises I might have a Cross Country meet to attend..

@Brandon: Lets see the team balance and we'll make a decision then. The OD vest thrusts you into OPFOR, but I doubt the enemy is sporting a lot of multicam so that puts you into US. Its a toss up I didn't count on lol.

Friendly fire is a minimal concern. Despite the fact that some of the uniform styles will overlap (i.e. woodland bdu's w/ a shemagh), the OP will run in such a way that if the guy in front of you is shooting, he's the enemy. Least that's per the format, obviously all that man plans is tested by man acting and more often than not, the plans fail the test.

Didn't get to go in July, August, or September. My trigger finger is getting itchy. Can't wait and may have some other new operators too.
