Ok...my methods of gun silencing aren't legal in the USA. But if you want you could order a silencer (any export model) from Redwolf.com and it would silence your gun a lot due to the foam in the barrel. Im pretty sure they have a dealership in Canada. Or you could just try ordering one. If you do tell me I will place in order to get one also.
well i have one of those..... the guy i got the gun from was deployed to Japan for a while and there its not illegal. so i dont have any muzzle noise just the gearbox and internal noise.
and i need advice on how to make that part quiet.

Derek,

A good amount of an AEG's noise comes from the gearbox and is amplified by a hollow hard stock attached to it. Remove the butt plate of your AEG, and pack your battery and wiring inside with close cell foam (the type they make camping sleep rolls from). Be sure that you are able to access your battery's recharging plug after the butt plate is replaced. Charging should NOT require the removal of the battery. You may also fill the fore-grip (as in an M4), which may reduce some of the amplified noise.

Overall, some AEGs are just quieter than others. The shorter the barrel, the louder the report. CA M4's have a ring to them that is clearly identifiable. Additionally, some repressors (silencers), are fake and used only to hide an extended barrel. Be wary of advertisers.

In the long run, spend less time on the trigger. It is much harder to locate the direction of a single shot or double tap, than from those individuals who needlessly blaze away. It is after all, 'the operator' who is the threat.

Good hunting.

Does anyone know where to get this close cell foam komissar is talking about?

well i dont really need a whole sleeping pad if i dont need one. (if i dont find anything else i might have to do that though)
Would anyone recommend getting/using a silent piston head? similar to this-"Silent piston head"
It helps a little. I don't know exactly how well though.
i used Dynamat to suppress gearbox noise. Dynamat is the material that is put into car doors to muffle high end stereo systems. you can find it at car audio places and it is excellent at absorbing noise. i got mine for free because i know an owner of a stereo shop so i don't know how much it will cost.
