Looking for a reliable M16 any brand suggested?

Hey guys im in the market for a reliable M16 that shoots between 350-400 fps with good internals any suggestions? Im willing to spend up to $350 so im assuming most brands will be available. Thanks Joe

KWA seems to be the front runner for what you're looking for. Classic Army Pro Line is also a good choice.

I agree with Phoenix. KWA seems to be the leader right now, however CA pro-line is still a good AEG. As usual, not only is he right, but he beat me to it.

thats what i figured but i wanted some veteran opinions before i drove all the way down to AEX, I think its time to invest in a reliable AEG and shelf the clone as a back up or loaner for friends. Thanks for your help guys and hopefully next mission day I will be rockin' a new KWA. Oh one more thing do "MAG" M4 magazines fit KWA if not what is a good brand to go with?

Talk with Scramble, but I believe KWA AEGs fit only their own mags. He was saying the other brands fit too tight.

I'm only right because I'm a knowledge fountain. What I learn comes from those around me. I do wonder Joe, what kind of clone gun are you running? I've been seeing that the quality of the clones are coming up to an acceptable standard. My Mosada is an A&K which is a clone, heck my gun is a clone of a then non existent gun (real-steel or otherwise), but to know what brands of clones to advise people to stay away from is good to know.

Just thought I'd reinforce that yes, KWA guns are only compatible with KWA mags as far as I've seen. Alot of KWA made parts etc are exclusive to KWA guns as well to function correctly. Great gun though for an m16 style

Stay away from DBoy clones they run good for about 3 months then once the spring settles they shoot under 300 fps, dont get me wrong theyre not bad for your 1st aeg but like the saying goes you get what you pay for. Pheonix your masada rocks i saw you get a hit from red 2 on silo nice purchase.

kwa only needs a wee bit modification on the mags of classic army to be used but they work fine

I agree that KWA has some nice guns out there, but if you really want uniqueness and compatibility look into a G&P or VFC. They are both high quality EXTREMELY customizable guns.
