Briefing: Riverine OP - CLASSIFIED

Operation Nifty Package was a United States Navy SEAL plan conducted in 1989 to prevent the escape of dictator Manuel Noriega. This operation was handled by SEAL Team FOUR, and was tasked with destroying Noriega's private jet on the ground at a coastal airport in Panama City. This part of the mission put the SEALs into a skirmish with Panamanian military forces guarding the airport. A well-aimed AT4 rocket resulted in the mission's strategic success.

Another Navy SEAL group, consisting of divers on Zodiac attack boats, was to sabotage a gunboat while it was tied to a pier on the canal. Two of the divers descended to the bottom of the canal, and with two bombs, successfully destroyed Noriega's gunboat.

Operations Include:

-Covert Night Insertion

-Silent Patrol

-Multiple Objectives

-DEMO of High Value Target

-Multiple extraction points

Make your kit ready for fast movement and high action. Do not weigh yourself down with redundant gear.

All participants must provide their own PFD.

Blazed and Bluewolf are on board. Six-man fire-team going to the island!

Woodland team, and kit from the waist up! Water gets a little deep in places.

Tank has com for the team. Scramble is taking care of PDFs.

We will be sure to bring back photos, and our dead.

Anyone need to go before we get in the boat, now is the time to do it!
