This event is hosted by the Cimmerians.
You must be registered on the Cimmerian site and be at least 18 years old or 15+ and a guest of a Cimmerian. Operators age 16+ only need be attended by a registered adult. NOTE: The 'minor' will be a shadow to the registered adult operator. The will need to be with you at all times.

2000 - Night Operations (Half Moon)
Saturday Operations
0800 - Briefing and Chrono
0900 - Begin Evolutions
1200 - Lunch in the Field
1600 – Completion of OPs

U.S. SOF: ACU
LRA Guerrillas: Woodland BDU. Please include a Shemagh and Cap/Boonie of some type. (Your rebels after all!)
Operators will need to carry their food, water, ammunition, death rag, and compass, for field operations.
Be prepared. Be responsible.
Get your camping gear and dinner together for the over-nighter!

I'm looking to come up with Phoenix on Saturday. So Far all lights are green for that. I'll bring both Woodland and ACU as well.

Although the road is fairly well maintained, I suggest bringing a vehicle with at least 6 inches of clearance. You don't want your weekend ruined by getting a hole in your oil pan. We can park vehicles below and shuttle operators and their gear to the AO. Any truck and most cars will make the trek. My Honda is not something I would bring to the AO

July 31st second attempt at Cimmerian Maiden Steel AO Recon:
Blazed and I took his beautiful new truck up to see if the offensive white stuff had departed. Happy to say, that although there is still some snow, the roads are open, and the AO is green and beautiful.
Here you can see some of the beautiful green/grey at the AO, and the creek crossing separating the camp from the AO.
Below are a couple more shots of the area. DC has been here for OPs in the past, and had a great time. Now it is August and due to the elevation and long winter, it was still around 75 degrees.
Well troops, the wheels are in motion, and it's looking to be a great event. Once again, thank you for your support! I can't wait to begin! See you there.

Jen: It would be great to have you both out, but I do understand at least the parental constraints involved. Kattiana will miss having you there also. Send the Mr. with a camera and instructions to get you some good shots.
