fun op guys. once we figured that we were just playing for fun then it turned out better. The highlight for me was laughing at Scramble when he broke his "wand" then told me about it. I laughed...a lot

Blazed: It begins on Saturday at 1900 hours. (7pm)
If you mean earlier Saturday day, I will be busy, but Scramble may be here.
I will find out and report back.

Madd: Night vision will be allowed for most of the missions.

Any problems with showing up on saturday?

Scope worked better at OPCR. Probably most successful ambush ever.

Got the replacement eye piece. It is MUCH easier to use now. (have to test it with goggles/facemask).

My biggest problem was using 3x magnification on my scope. The rifle eye piece makes it 1x, and extends out further towards my goggles (but it's broken and waiting replacement).

I just couldn't focus on anything. Also, I probably need to use the IR flashlight to see under the trees.

More or less, without having a Gen 3 or better NV scope, it will have limited use - compared to using my ears and letting my eyes adjust to the darkness.

NV was having some trouble with the large fields of wavy, tall grass.
May not have that issue on DRAEX field.
