Based on Operation Red Wing was a counter-insurgent mission in Kunar province, Afghanistan, involving six members of the United States Navy SEALs , which took place on June 28, 2005. Three of the SEALs were killed during the initial operation, as were sixteen American Special Operations Forces soldiers whose helicopter was shot down while flying to provide support to the team. It was the largest loss of life for American forces since the invasion began. Marcus Luttrell, the only surviving American combatant, was protected by local villagers who sent an emissary to the closest military base allowing a rescue team to locate the wounded SEAL.

- Search and Destroy
- Evade and Rescue
- High Value Target
- Fixed Defensive Position
- Extraction

UNIFORM LOADOUT

USFOR: 3 color Desert; Any modern MIL-PAT (i.e. MARPAT, ACU, ABU, DCU, etc…)

Indigenous Forces (AGF): pre-modern MIL-PAT (NON-3color. Woodland, DPM, flectarn, tiger, OD, etc…)

Military uniforms are required for the whole OP both on and off the field of battle. We encourage operators to dress the role, but of course any military uniform is allowed. If you have "both" bring both, we may need you to adjust force levels otherwise arm bands will be available to designate forces if required.

WEAPONS & AMMUNITION

All modern weapons accepted. We strive to re-enact the battle more than to be strict with gear.

Airsoft guns will not chronograph greater than 395 fps (feet per second) with .20g BBs (or 350 fps with .25g BBs)

All operators must use 100% Biodegradable BBs.

Biodegradable BBs in 0.2g and 0.25g weights, every effort is made to make them available for sale at the AO for $15 per bag.
