Event Description

We will be running our next Training Day on this December 31st. Many have asked when the next one will be held, and this is the soonest available opportunity.

On Saturday, December 31st, the last day of 2011.
We will begin at 0900
Please arrive by 0830 (coffee in hand)

Most team actions fail due to lack of teamwork, organization, leadership, trust, understanding, and practice.
The majority of failure is due to leadership arriving late or non-existent.
Training leadership will create better operators.
The instruction and drills are designed to introduce and practice ideas and actions which will allow:
Operators to: Understand your role as a member of a team.
Team Leaders to: Have an understanding on how to direct your team and best utilize your team in the field.

We intend to establish and improve the capabilities of operators in their respective roles as part of a team. The instruction attempts to teach the basic information and training in techniques necessary to be an effective operator.
Training Day does not include push-ups or calisthenics of any kind. Do that on your own time.

Komissar will introduce:
4-man Fire-Teams including practice.
Limited field application.
DM's are included in the 4-man Fire-Team practice

Should we have time, the request list includes:
Communication (Radio and Hand Signal)
Directing Assaults (Plan of Attack)
Leap Frogging
Room Entry (Door Jacking and Room Sweep)
Ambush
Sniper Tactics (of which I know almost nothing)

I will have at least one new player with me. He's new new too. I might have one more with me but I suspect he will observe more than participate (he's older, knows me from my other military hobby).
